Renewals may be done at any time, but must be paid by January 1st.
Existing NRA Members:
This must be an NRA membership purchased on your own, NOT by the club on your behalf.
Attempting to renew as an NRA member, if the club purchased an NRA membership for you last year, will only delay the renewal process and cause extra effort for you and your club Secretary. NRA Life of Duty Membership satisfies this club membership requirement.
If you have recently joined NRA and do not yet have an NRA membership number & expiration date, forward the NRA email confirmation to the club Secretary Secretary@AgawamRevolverClub.com. When you receive your NRA member number and expiration date from NRA (about 4-6 weeks after payment), also forward it to the club Secretary.

Not an NRA Member, But I want to Join NRA as a Regular Member:
If you are not an NRA member, we encourage you to join NRA (with all the benefits of membership including your choice of publication from the NRA, NRA voting privileges, hunter's accident and firearms theft insurance, discounts, and increased representation by the NRA) and then use the Existing NRA Members button above.
If you are a member of the military, law enforcement or a first responder, see if you qualify for NRA Life of Duty membership (which is free). This membership satisfies the club requirements for NRA membership.
Click here to join NRA or renew your NRA membership for only $25. (This is a $10 discount from the regular price.) Your club donates the recruiter commission of $10 for a new membership or $5 for a renewal membership to the NRA. What's Happening and How to Fix It:
Quoted from the National Shooting Sports Foundation, because I can't say it any better: "Severely restrictive gun-control legislation has been introduced throughout the country, including in the U.S. Congress and in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota and New Jersey [and Massachusetts]. Other states are expected to follow suit. New York has already hastily passed new anti-gun laws, the severe impacts of which are only just being realized.
Firearms owners are turning out by the thousands at state hearings, but just as important is letting your legislators know by letter or phone call that these proposed bills are unwarranted and an assault on your Second Amendment rights."
Another take on this whole debate from Tom Gresham of GunTalk, in his latest broadcast:
Tom says that the 'assault weapons' and 'high capacity magazines' legislation is all a smokescreen to implement 'universal background checks' which is GUN REGISTRATION. Gun registration has only one purpose and that is GUN CONFISCATION. Gun Talk, is broadcast on the radio and available for download as a podcast from the GunTalk web site or iTunes.
We need to write all our legislators (local, state and federal) and tell them we do not need ANY new gun laws. Many organizations have made it very easy to contact your legislators:
Please take a few moments and do this now. The only way we can fight this is to let our elected legislators know what is important to us. Law-abiding citizens should not be punished for the actions of sick individuals, who will not be affected by any new gun laws.
Recalls of ammunition and firearms that we are aware of. Moved from our bulletin board at the club on 9/27/2012 and updated as we are notified. If you know of a recall that is not here, please send it to the Secretary so that it can be included.
UPDATED 9/29/2012 This bill would allow any person with a valid state-issued concealed firearm permit to carry a concealed handgun in any other state that issues concealed firearm permits, or that does not prohibit the carrying of concealed firearms for lawful purposes.
S. 2188: National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012 has passed the House and has been introduced in the Senate.
Write your two Senators NOW and ask them to co-sponsor the bill!
